Scars of Love

I use charcoal and acrylic on either paper, canvas, or wood, to make paintings of abstract and figurative shapes that suggest human bodies, faces, and animals.

I am motivated by a need to understand the psychological underpinnings of human beings, especially in relationships. My paintings become passageways into the undiscovered regions of my own psyche.
