Using a camera allows me to record and display clearly and without artifice some of our artifacts and
the effect on them of time and nature.
Some are constructed to meet our needs and are now surplus, some are the result of a moment's whimsy,
some replicate our dreams or fantasies, some are memorials to those we revere; but, however they were
originally motivated, these artifacts reveal an element of our character. And perhaps contemplation of
these records from the past can enhance our enjoyment of the future.
